This special gai wan was curated for us by porcelain expert Tao Zi. Tao Zi was a senior porcelain appraiser at the top auction house Poly Auction and a true expert in porcelain history and antique porcelain. 

About This Item

This is a handmade porcelain gai wan with gray celadon glaze. This special glaze blends jade powder into the classic sacrificial blue glaze to achieve this unique celadon color in Chinese called Ji Qing 霽青. Gai Wan volume is 120ml.
